ROLE
Digital Content Team
WHERE
Ann Arbor, MI
WHEN
August 2018 - Present
As a digital content team member designer, I am responsible for designing and updating the website of the top fashion magazine at the University of Michigan. This is done through weekly team meetings, analyzing user data in Google Analytics, working closely with the creatives teams on design specifications. During my first semester on the team, I analyzed data from a user survey to create an expansion plan that shifts the site to be more accessible and desirable for general public users by creating an engaging asset covering campus fashion that is to be updated biweekly to promote site retention. This new asset can be seen now on the page as "Street Style."
From this role, I have gained valuable experience working on a UX designer team, prototyping in Figma, collaborating across creative teams to make digital products, along with analyzing data in Google Analytics to make design decisions.
Examples of my digital work and page designs.
Currently, we are migrated the site from Squarespace to WordPress. During this transition period, I am redesigning the Street Style and Print page, along with the navigation bar and footer to be used across the site. You can see an examples of a Print Page mock-up in the image carousel above.
Stay tuned to see more designs and prototypes as we continue to evolve our site!
